HillTops by -25. Can't handle the Bruins who have something to prove.

Punk Hubert Davis and the rest of the East Coast reporters...UCLA by 20...We are too athletic and skilled for these guys...pump the ball into Love and make their big guy sit on the bench...guards, stay in front of ya man...Let's do this!!

UCLA wins by 15+, but it is a total conspiracy and the media further blasts UCLA since it would otherwise not have been possible for UCLA to have advanced so far. Never mind UCLA has mad talent, skill, experience, coaching, determination, heart, etc. It all only due to bad calls by the refs ALL in UCLA's favor. I suggest we just give ourselves 7 fouls to start the game, have Love sit out, and spot the other team 10 points. Also, I suggest we fly to the east coast then back again before the game starts - nevermind that UNC is playing in Charlotte or that Texas is playing in Houston - UCLA playing in a completely DIFFERENT state is WAY too much an advantage.

unc (chapel hill) to (east regional final location) charlotte, (141 miles)

kansas (lawrence) to (midwest regional final) detroit (831 miles)

ucla (l.a.) to (west regional final) phoenix (387 miles)

memphis (memphis) to (south regional final) houston (574 miles)

(also: texas (austin) to (south regional final) (#2 seed) (165 miles)

Something doesn't seem fair about some of these seedings. UCLA has a shorter run than kansas and memphis but 141 miles for North Carolina..?? That's an advantage.

Anaheim was a distinct advantage but once you hop on a plane...really...everyone then gets on a level playing field. Seriously, the Bruins will need to go to the airport, hotel, settle, in and then travel to the arena....MAYBE...their flight is an hour less in the air...but that's the only difference.

So ridiculous.

This talk is stupid! All sites are already determined before we even know who the seeds will be!

All the Bruins have to do is win the rest of their games outright and then who the "f" cares what anybody says!

We just need the rest of the team to take some weight of the shoulders of DC and DLove. If that can be accomplished we'll be fine!

If not, then we'll probably see this year's banner hung up in the rafters in Chapel Hill or Lawrence!

Brew In, I agree. Let's all just crack open a cold one and chill.

Head to Westwood Brew Co for tomorrow's game...they have cold ones....

No win game for UCLA. If they win by 15+, then the media will just say "well, they should have won by that much, if not more". If UCLA loses, then the media says, "we told you so". If UCLA wins, but by under 15, then the media again says, "you see, UCLA is not that strong". Oh, to be hated by all. BRING IT ON!

"no one, and i mean no one... pushes us around"... let's win one for the fans.
Go Bruins!

I have a question not related to the tournament. Can someone please explain to me why we sometimes say during the year that a loss is good? WHat does that mean? Just cause it wakes us up? Wouldnt it be better to get a close call yet still win than a loss? Is it bad to go undefeated? Please explain!

UCLA needs to make media eat crow.

To j. They say that a lose is a good lose if for example a team is riding a seventeen game winning streak because they have played inferior opponents and then get bounced out of the first round of their conference tournament by the worst team in their league. That lose might be looked at as a good lose because the team was probably resting on their laurels and would have been going into the NCAA tournament too overconfident. This loss gave them a wake up call that with just 1 loss their season is over. It gives them a renewed sense of urgency and focus that they might not have had until they lost in the NCAA without fulfilling their potential.

Does that help?
