Let Shipp be a scorer, not a shooter.

I thought Shipp did an outstanding job of scoring his first two full years of play. Even when Afflalo was around, I always thought Josh was the better scorer--as opposed to Afflalo who was the better shooter.

I understand Howland wants/needs Josh to be a shooter, but is it better to have Josh be a legitimate scoring threat or a someone who the other team dares to shoot the 3.

Just because we hope Josh's 3s will improve spacing doesn't mean a thing if the opposing team isn't thinking about it. if he keeps missing teams are just going to slack off Josh and pack it in on Love or try to trap Darren.

So I can only hope that Coach Howland just lets Josh be he scorer he is so he won't be thinking I gotta make this. If he gets some rhythm as a scorer, the 3s will come naturally. If the 3s come naturally, let's be prepared to cut down the nets in San Antonio.

Agreed. Josh slash to the basket and take twos..hit 3's when u r open.

UCLA by 21.

We come to play!!
