UCLA Superlative Statistics 12/19

College basketball fans are familiar with published statistics such
as rebounds, assists, points scored, and field goal and free throw
percentage as a marker of a player's performance and contribution to
his team.


Those
who follow UCLA Bruins basketball and know the value Head Coach Ben Howland
places on hustle, toughness, and performance under pressure will
appreciate a separate set of statistics kept by the Bruin coaching staff, a set of numbers

I always love these stats. They all make sense and exactly what I'd expect based upon the efforts I see on the court. The only one that surprised me was "diving for loose" balls, it was nice to Love up there.
As for the late FT I'd expect that names to change when we start playing closer games.

What does Control the Tip stand for?

control the tip = the team/jumping center that wins the opening tip to start the game.
